Evolving Out Loud with Kyle Cease
I just returned from LA where I attended a two day Evolving Out Loud event with Kyle Cease. If you haven’t heard of him before, he is a transformational comedian who knows what he’s talking about. It was so fun to play in the energy and be with others who think about their souls and consciousness and what we can do to shift this planet into its highest potential. Good stuff.
It can be a little overwhelming for me, too, to be with that much energy, and over time I have learned how to navigate my need for quiet and meditation with being out in the hustle of the World. Because it is such a joy for me now to be in the swirl of life and send Love energy out to others, bless where I can, and serve with a friendly smile, thoughtful conversation, and holding space for others to be in their greatness.
And what I couldn’t help but notice is the dream most people are living in. The constant struggle to earn more money, get a better job, hang on to a relationship that isn’t working because you’re scared to be alone. It absolutely breaks my heart that so many people are asleep in their lives not living their fullest potential. Don’t you realize how magnificent you are? That you are here as this incredible, brilliant light meant to shine and live all you are here to do? You are not the 8 to 5 job or the work title or even the struggle. You are JOY. You are infinite possibility!!!!
And we get there by listening to the only thing that truly matters – our hearts. You know this. And we listen by being in the quiet. Kyle loves to encourage meditation, as do I. So once again, I want to invite you into that space this week to dive in and FEEL. We need you on this path to help wake up these lost souls who are crying out to be heard and seen and witnessed and loved. Every time you clear the pain in yourself, you do this for each and every one of us. I am in such gratitude for you for continuing on the path.
Of course we’ll end with a St. Teresa quote that has the word “cease” in it as a nod to Kyle, and it is of course perfect for today. For as much as we can do the work on ourselves, it’s just as important to get out and spread this love to others.
“Nothing else, however elevated, perfects the soul which must never seek to forget its own nothingness. Let humility be always at work, like the bee at the honeycomb, or all will be lost. But remember, the bee leaves its hive to fly in search of flowers and the soul should sometimes cease thinking of itself to rise in meditation on the grandeur and majesty of its God.”
We are Love. xo
