Dig Deeper

What an incredible Monday morning beautiful ones! There is a light dusting of snow here in Portland, and as you know it takes some adjustment for me to embrace this.

However, I did just that and put on my running shoes and hit the streets. What a miraculous time it was! The air was crisp and clear, there was a lovely quiet in the energy with the occasional bird singing out its song. The few people I saw (usually walking their dog) was met with a smile and a hello. What a way to start my day and extend my energy to those whom I meet. I feel blessed and humbled and honored.

The word that came to me the most was when I was running up the biggest hill on my route. I can never make it up that hill without stopping - and it's been about 4 years of this! Usually I keep my head down and dig a little deeper to go as far as I can before I have to stop.

Today, I was called to keep my head up, and when I did I saw an incredibly different view. It was a glorious hill with snow on the trees, a light dusting of snow falling down from the sky and a peace in my heart that was directly from Source.

The word was EMBRACE.

Embrace the hill and keep climbing.
Embrace the snow and get out in it and live.
Embrace the rhythm and flow of timing and trust what is presented to you.
Embrace your ability to co-create and set your intentions with the Universe for what you are desiring.

Of course I thought of all of you and sent out waves of appreciation for all you are bringing forth. And I encourage you to embrace that hill in your own life and climb. Run up the mountain and don't be afraid of what you think you might find. You will be presented with opportunities to clear and release, balance and restore, grow and expand. What a blessing!! Keep your eyes and head up and see a different view. It is truly astounding with what you might discover.

Different lines of songs from my music playlist resonated with me - from Nahko:
"Yeah I took my chances and I realized many dreams; I will do things I've never done before cuz I'm powerful and I'm not afraid no more."

From Trevor Hall: "Looking everywhere but the here and now. All these songs coming back around."

From Aretha Franklin: "Rock steady baby! That's what I feel now. Rock steady."

This photo is from the sunset I saw recently on Maui. Here's to you discovering your own way today in your own voice with your own song. And remember - embrace, head up and catch a different perspective, and smile. Loving you and your stand for all you're becoming. We are Love. xo
