"I can't" vs. "I can"

Beautiful tribe! I am in the flow of creating right now, and it allows me to connect with my purpose and my Light for which I am most grateful. My heart extends to you in Love.

I am putting the final touches on a presentation I will present to a group here in Portland on Saturday, and I ran across this quote as I was completing the workshop. The topic is around change in the workplace, and my take on this comes from anchoring into your courage and confidence. In knowing how to move powerfully within yourself is what will allow you to navigate change whether it be at your job, your home or just with life in general. A key step to anchoring into your confidence is breaking up the old story that you can’t. What one small action can you do today that will create a new story for you? It’s never about the big experiences – it’s always about the small, every day steps that builds the inner muscle to keep going and trying.

I was reflecting on my own personal story around how I started stuttering at 6 years old and figuratively and literally lost my voice until I was 18 years old. And now, I am speaking in front of groups. This didn’t happen overnight and took many steps, many of them missteps, before I could end up where I wanted to be. Embarrassment, shame and humiliation all came with having this problem of saying words, and yet it was part of my journey. What old story in your life are you ready to leave behind that is no longer serving you? And then what new action will you take to create a new experience?

I was recently on a podcast with a lovely sister and posted it here on the page, so have a listen if it calls to you. We spoke about perseverance and a host of other things. It was a lot of fun and think you’ll enjoy it. And as always, shine your Light, move from your heart, and be the change.

Tremendous blessings. xo
