What does Love look like?
Hello beautiful ones! I saw a sign the other day that made so much sense, and it said “Love looks like justice.” Many of us are heart-centered and live in alignment with Love, but in action, what can that mean specifically?
I have spoken about divine neutrality and staying calm in the storm, and in acting in Love, that can look like different things for different people. This is why it is so important to know how to listen to your inner wisdom and deeper knowing so that you can act in truest alignment with your purpose and values. For some, acting in Love can mean working for justice. For another, it can be sharing a smile and hello at the grocery store or when passing someone on the street. We all have a role and a part to play, and it is trusting what we hear in the quiet of our hearts that will lead us in the highest and best next step for us individually and then ultimately for humanity.
Along with the many planets in retrograde right now, Chiron is also playing a big part in our year as we continue to be healed and be given the opportunity to look at the deeper layers of our journey. Chiron is known as the wounded healer, and this planet will bring to the surface deep, karmic pain in order for you to bring this wound into healing and completion. What is so magnificent about the energies of this year is that you can move these wounds into healing with such speed and ease if that is where you place your intention. Sometimes in our spiritual practice we want to bypass the feelings and use our minds to circumvent the heart and feeling the emotions home into Love and completion. We’ll stay in our head and rationalize the thoughts because it can be painful to turn towards the wound and feel it.
But what is being given to us is this opportunity to be able to finally clear these deep core wounds that we’ve been carrying for lifetimes that have colored our experiences in this lifetime and others. “Be not afraid” is the phrase coming through. Sure, you might experience the pain of this for a moment, hour or day, but what an incredible opportunity to finally release the chains and bondage of this wound.
My core wound is being alone, and I have been alone for lifetimes. I have worked on this layer by layer, facing it whenever it arises – sometimes willingly and sometimes being dragged – always hopeful that that would be the final piece to clear and staying open if it wasn’t. The night before the full moon this past week I went to bed very early and slept for almost twelve hours. When I woke up, I knew it was time to feel this pain again. But then something miraculous occurred. All it took for me to bring this all the way home was to turn towards it, take one breath, and then the pain was completely lifted. It was a much different experience than anything I have had before. In my willingness to do a bit of work, I was gifted the release of this karmic wound forever. I can feel the completion of it. It is done.
As we continue into October with the Full Moon Light anchoring the beginning and ending of this month, it is going to be gifting us the ability to see even more clearly the spaces within ourselves that may need a little bit more attention, love, time and care. Because the more you clear and heal your inner world, the better you can serve yourself and others at the highest level possible in the outer world. You can bring into balance (thank you Libra season) even more of yourself and feel the freedom within. And from here, dear hearts, you can act even more in Love in the way that is right and true for you.
And finally, this Thursday I will be announcing my very special, amazing, so-excited-to-share-with-you project that I have been working on diligently for months. It is my biggest accomplishment professionally to date, and I can’t wait for you to be a part of it! So stay tuned for that on Thursday.
In the meantime, as always, my Love and heart to you. xo
